Lathe-turned Spurtle made from the dark colored grain of Poplar. A spurtle is a traditional Scottish kitchen utensil used for stirring porridge. With a flared out foot, it allows for optimal scraping of the sides of the pot, without the drag you can get from a traditional spoon. Works well for soups, sauces, and other stirrables. Includes an eyelet a the end of the handle for optimal storage and display. Every Spurtle made had similar design and sizing, but every one has its own unique variation in the handle grip, meaning you get a one of a kind utensil.

Measuring 14” long and 1” wide with a flared out bottom.
