Mosaic: Multi-Species Randomly Cut and then Laminated into square stock for shaping and turning (up to two compatible woods with related hardness ratings i.e. Purpleheart and Maple)
Also available with custom laser engraving for further stylization. If choosing to add engraving, a high quality Black and White image is needed to load into the laser engraver.

Lathe-turned Spurtle made from cherry. A spurtle is a traditional Scottish kitchen utensil used for stirring porridge. With a flared out foot, it allows for optimal scraping of the sides of the pot, without the drag you can get from a traditional spoon. Works well for soups, sauces, and other stirrables. Includes an eyelet a the end of the handle for optimal storage and display. Every Spurtle made had similar design and sizing, but every one has its own unique variation in the handle grip, meaning you get a one of a kind utensil.
Measuring 12” long and .75” wide with a flared out bottom. This is a thinner style spurtle for smaller applications.
This spurtle is coated and sealed in a matrix of food safe finishes, such as beeswax and mineral oil. Please see the Food Safe Product Care page for care instructions.
